In defense, I believe his only 'crime' was making a prediction. That seem to not bode well with some faithful followers of certain teams. Nevertheless, I do not see that he instigated anything more than conversation. Having said that, I would like to see the others show respect without verbal attacks to any and all on this site. I love your program and first and foremost because of the leadership and direction of your Head Coach reflected in his character. He's a devout Christian and absolutely first class. The world needs more Doug Smiths. I'm also aware of the influence he had on Scruggs and how his influence and character caused a huge turn around in the life of Scruggs. Aside from the classiness and leadership and Christian character, he also has a ridiculously high football IQ. Appo's program is class on the field and off.
This is a great match up and both teams are physical as can be! First half was a lot of smash mouth football!

Damn good game, congrats to Poquoson it's hard to win a playoff game in Goochland. Well deserved.
I had Goochland penciled in on my bracket as playing in Salem in 2 weeks. Poqouson is a good team, but I never thought they would beat Goochland.
They were the 1st real test Goochland had this year, the rest of the schedule was weak and Poquoson played a very tough schedule against mostly 3A so they were prepared. I thought Goochland could pull it out because of home field but I said it a while back Poquoson would probably beat Goochland.
The Bull Islanders have stepped it up a notch the last few weeks. Playing York and Lafayette has helped that, and Smithfield earlier doesn't hurt. We are very well coached, and we are difficult to deal with in smashmouth football. The thing is, we could have lost to Goochland on any night, or the opposite on any night. At Poquoson, in nearly 80% or so of the games we play, we can truly lose them, or we can beat about anyone. You just don't know what you are going to get in outcome, but our kids play very hard and when they are on, they are on.
you were correct that gooch def. plays fast,pissed off,,but thats cuz they couldnt tackle while the bulls ran for 283 yards(i predicted 275) the bulls passed for 33yds.(i said 30). i predicted the bulldogs would get 150yds. rushing,(they got 143), you said their RB would get 150 by himself, yet he scampered for only 11yds.(the whole game)., i predicted a fumble from ea. team..that was true. i said the score at gooch home field would 28-7, it was 21-10(with a min. in the game left and on the 1 yd line of goochland, Poq. took a knee to end game. theres my other td). you said 28-14 and that i need to check their stats....i did, it's in the richmond times today. maybe i'm still dreaming.

It was, G-DOG2, and a lot of fun to watch...two very physical, sound teams going at one another! You're right, Poquoson was fortunate enough to make a few more plays when it counted...I could tell that Goochland was very proud of their tradition and history...great program!
