If this was always a possibility, why wasn't the SR-Blacksburg game moved to Salem last year?
Possible change in 2A state championship location.

Yes, Hampton Roads 6, effectively it would be a home game for Poquoson. Just as it was pretty much a home game for Gretna when they played Poquoson for the state championship at Liberty in 2004.
And playing at William & Mary would be even more of a home game for Lafayette. But the Bulls and the Rams have to get it done tomorrow, otherwise it's a moot point.
Bottom line is, like it or hate it, the state contenders will play where the VHSL decides they will play. Teams just have to show up and handle their business.

Charlottesville is a little better than Lynchburg for C3 and C4. Richmond is obvious for C5 and C6 being roughly midway between Hampton Roads and NOVA. Fredericksburg would be better but there are no suitable facilities there. Salem is fine for C1 and C2, but Lexington might take a little bit off the trip for Region A teams.
