Very fair assessment GW has all the talent they need it's just not clicking at all. Plus we've had more walk away and the ones who chose to play else where or not at all has put a damper on our ablity.1). Riverheads and Essex look to be great.
2). GW seems overrated. Need to figure things out going into the Playoffs.
3). Narrows is a nice surprise.
4). Galax seems to be at their best going into the Playoffs, per usual.
GW seems to be the biggest surprise this year.

Essex played Thomas Jefferson in game 5. Essex won 38-30. With about 8 min in the 3rd, it was Essex winning 24-3. With 1 1/2 minutes in the 4th, Essex was winning by 14...38-24.Glad so many of non faith counted Generals off.
Appomattox and Thomas Jefferson put points on board.
Just remember the Name come December in Salem.
You better have passing and rushing team.
Once the Generals learn how tackle like Dan River game .they are hard to be beating.
Last regular season game this Friday Chatham.
Playoff time Coach Broggins will be ready for battle test
Those 2 backs can and do run through walls lolI am not sure why you are offended by WC not being mentioned here. I personally do not see them as a surprise good or bad. They are having the season I think most expected. I have stated in other threads that teams will not want to face WC come playoff time. I do not think they can hang with Essex or Sussex from the east but I believe it would be a good game between them and RH if it happens. Of course that is just my humble opinion.
While here, Galax is gonna be a problem for whoever represents A and B. I do not see any other team out west that can beat them come playoff time and Coach Dixon has those young men believing they can run through walls.
Playoffs do not always go chalk when looking at the seedlings but the cream will rise to the top for sure. And another point is that generally one of the top 4 win it so it is what it is. There are exceptions but then there is the data.
How do you know this happened.? Just curiousDid those player get kick off team from Riverhead for using N-Word game against Robert E Lee
It was all over twitter and Facebook and the Staunton News Leader had about a half dozen articles on itHow do you know this happened.? Just curious
I think the reason it got so much publicity is due to the fact that there were messages sent to the Lee player after the game (by the RHS player's girlfriend, that expanded upon and defended the name calling ) so there was physical evidence. That caused a local media frenzy for a few days as there were hundreds, maybe even thousands of shares/retweets/comments/reactions on the Lee player's facebook/twitter post and the newsleader article/facebook page. I'm pretty sure they had 5 online articles about it (I dont get the print copy during the week anymore so not sure of any others). The original story, the reactions from the community, an interview with the Lee player, a proposed way to handle the situation, and the resolution. There may have been more, but those are the ones I can recall.Players get kicked off teams for that kind of behavior?
In 2004 at Northwood I will always remember it, the fans calling names more than the players, but we handled business and got out of town.
It was common on away games when George Wythe went on those little windy roads back into the mountains when I played.
Hell a few of us would figure out the name of the QB's girl and I think it was against Grayson Co. we had the QB crying because we knew more about her than he did.
I can't image the situation where things said on the field would become such a big deal off the field. Are kids polite out there these days?
When a player would spit in our face and call us names we wore them out, they never made the final whistle, we would make sure that player quit because he no longer wanted to be hit.
Just saying we never complained to our mothers.
We took care of it on the field!
Media always trying to create drama. Glad it was handled. It was all over twitter and Facebook and the Staunton News Leader had about a half dozen articles on it

You work for the paper? The Media didn't "create drama". They covered it. Maybe they covered it too much for your liking, but the Media didn't make up the fact that the kid called another kid a name.
Glad to see the younger generation is staying classy. Kudos!
1) RiverheadsJust wondering how everyone’s preseason predictions turned out.
You work for the paper?
Do I work for the paper...?
Oh boy. No. I don't work for the paper.
Let's hear how the media "created" something again....
This site is going downhill......common trends include; fans blaming coaches, administrators, and now....the media.
Utterly speechless.
Media just covering something and not embellishing on anything ever. Hmmm interesting.

Embellishing is not covering up. Who has an agenda? Would someone be naive to think the news never crosses a certain line?
