Just for the heck of it. I'm doing this off the top of my head, and haven't put much thought into it yet, so don't shoot me lol. Let's hear your thoughts

1. Essex
2. Riverheads
3. Rappahannock
4. Grayson
5. Eastside
6. George Wythe
7. Rye Cove
8. Altavista
9. Northumberland
10. Buffalo Gap

Kwhs95fan…I understand that King William will be starting the 2025 season with a newly installed artificial turf field. Congrats to them as well as Lancaster High who will also have turf at their new school

I think Buffalo gap should be higher than altavista with altavista graduating alot from last season.
They very well be when I do more research before I do an official preseason top 10. This post was just off the top of my head, and mostly for discussion purposes

Essex will be a tough out for anyone so I would definitely consider them the overwhelming favorite.

GW has talent but will they put it together and show up in the playoffs (special atmosphere when they are home deep in the playoffs IMO).

Rapp can certainly get it done but do they when the lights get the brightest.

Riverheads have a tremendous upside returning their entire line and most of the skill players from last season.

Eastside has enough to beat anyone on the list but seem to shoot themselves in the foot in the most inopportune moments especially late in the season.

Grayson is a mirror of Eastside in that regard, but they are talented enough to be a player deep in the playoffs.

Rye Cove, no clue what they will have this season but if everyone from SWVA is saying they will be good then they should be a quality team for sure.

Altavista, with the program having some success I would think they would be higher even considering they may have graduated impact players. Consistency will be their key and there is an early season matchup with Riverheads to kind of get a gauge of where each team may be. Likely region B championship preview......

Northumberland, always gets me hyped early then has not shown playoff success. Can this be the year?

Buffalo Gap lost their bell cow from last year so I am not a sold on them being a player in Nov/Dec but I have been wrong before. They have some size, but I didn't see anyone that can take the carries Yeago had last season and have his success.

Just my .02

Northumberland will probably be the same as normal. Beat up on weak opposition, but lose to the good teams. They do have the best QB in Class 1, in my opinion, in Tyreek Lundy.
