While most schools have played two games or more, it took Episcopal a little longer to open their season. The Maroon appeared in mid-season form after beating Paul VI 45-0.

In a big upset, Bishop Sullivan lost their 1st game to Bishop McNamara 42-41 after leading by 21 points at halftime. The Crusaders led 41-23 heading into the 4th quarter but were outscored 19-0 in the final 12 minutes. Bishop McNamara picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown to pull within 1-point. They converted the 2-point conversion to take a 1-point lead.

Trinity Episcopal evened their record at 2-2 and handed Norfolk Academy their 1st loss with a 26-20 win. Tink Boyd connected with Will Michael for the game winning touchdown. Boyd was a double threat throwing and catching a touchdown pass. In addition to his touchdown reception, senior Will Michael kicked two field goals.

St Christophers jumped all over St Anne's-Belfield finally getting into the win column by scoring 35 points in the 1st half to win 48-6. Receiver Justin Jasper caught three touchdown passes from John Damgard and finished the night with six receptions for 73 yards. Damgard was 21 of 25 passing for 243 yards and four touchdowns.

Shomari Moore caught two touchdown passes to help Richmond Christian move to 3-0 with an 18-2 win over Portsmouth Christian. Moore scored touchdowns from 74 and 40 yards out.
Quantico is making some noise after defeating Fredericksburg Christian for their 3rd win in a row. Atlantic Shores also stayed undefeated with a 43-13 win over Blessed Sacrament Huguenot.

Fuqua scored 50 points in their win this past weekend. Quarterback Devin Allen completed 8 of 17 passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 65 yards and a touchdown. Jeffrey Fariss added 10 rushes for 91 yards and two touchdowns.

Toren Pride had a huge punt return and a pick six to give Bishop O Connell a 19-6 win over Fork Union Military Academy. Bradley Magee added a touchdown reception.

Hargrave Military Academy earned their 1st win with a 38-13 win over Covenant. Quarterback Darrell Smith completed 5 of 11 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns while gaining 163 yards on 10 carries with three touchdown runs. Brian Williams had five solo stops and a fumble recovery while Austin Bennett had four solo tackles and a interception.
