Keith I agree.I think Lee is going to be a final four contender and still believe that. They have played one of the toughest schedules...if not the toughest in 2A. Just recently they had a stretch of Spotswood, Waynesboro, Armstrong, and Loudoun Valley. All of those teams are contenders and above the 2A level.
George is fun to watch. The kid can score inside, Throw down some monster dunks, and then be deadly from three. As Lee develops and gets better chemistry moving forward they will be a force. I think they are at the top of C-36 with Page County being there with them at the moment. I think Martinsville is probably the only lock as far as a final four favorite this season in 2A. There are a bunch of teams that can get there. George Mason and Madison County have been impressive too.
Lee will be by February one of those teams that you don't want to see on your side of the bracket. Lee's 5-4 record is very deceiving considering who all they've played. Harrisonburg and Stuarts Draft should be interesting on back to back nights for Lee. Both like to run and the Draft likes to fly lol. So...Lee could be challenges in that aspect. Also Harrisonburg always seems to give Lee fits.
If Jarvis and Jayden can get going more consistently that will open it up even more for George. I like Brown at the gaurd....so the pieces are certainly there for this years Leemen!
