We hung with KQ last time.

We had the ball last in the 4th vs KQ. A penalty and a combination of poor play calling and execution hurt us.

They have 3 great skill players at QB, RB, and WR that they know how to use. But we pound the rock between the tackles and stop the run between the tackles as good as anyone.

The last game was played in the rain and that definitely affected the KQ passing game, as KQ only had 10 passing yards. Both teams have improved since then and I expect another good game.

This will be the 4th meeting between the teams in the last 2 seasons. Last year KQ won the regular season game, but WP won the playoff game. Of course KQ won the earlier meeting this season. Either way, it will be the first regional championship for either team in awhile. West Point last won the Region in 2009, behind the Roane brothers. You have to go all the way back to 1990 for the last region championship for KQ. Both of these teams are extremely young as well. WP has 13 freshmen listed on their roster, while KQ is sophomore dominated, but have a really good 8th grade class and many of them will be on Varsity in the fall, including stud RB Jadyn Nelson, who had over 700 yards rushing in just 3 jv games this year and is already 5'9 185 lbs.
