Region 2B
In the Region 2B boys tournament, two Augusta County teams will face off in the quarterfinals. No. 4 Stuarts Draft (14-8) will host No. 5 Fort Defiance (12-9) Tuesday at 6 p.m. The two teams split their regular season matchups, both winning at home. Draft beat Fort Defiance on Jan. 17 70-55 while Fort got even Feb. 10 66-61.No. 8 Riverheads (11-12) will be at No. 1 Central-Woodstock (21-3) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Riverheads lost to Central twice earlier in the season, falling by 26 on the road in the first game of the season and then at home on Dec. 17 by 12.
No. 3 Luray will host No. 6 Page County while No. 2 Buckingham County will be at home against No. 7 Strasburg in the other two quarterfinal games. Both are Tuesday night.
In Region 2B girls, No. 7 Riverheads (8-12) doesn't have to travel far for its first game Tuesday when it will face No. 2 Stuarts Draft (18-4). Draft beat Riverheads on the road 57-39 Jan. 23 and then at home 56-36 Jan. 31.
No. 1 Clarke County hosts No. 8 Page County, No. 5 Buckingham County will be at No. 4 Central-Woodstock, and No. 3 Strasburg plays host to No. 6 Luray. All games are Tuesday.
