Playoff Implications
Dominion 21, Heritage 14
The Titans (3-2) dealt Heritage (3-2) their second loss of the season. Many (myself included) thought that Heritage would win this one comfortably. Dominion winning means that it's going to be an even tighter race to make the playoffs and definitely opens the door for teams outside of Loudoun County to sneak in with 3 losses.
Handley 21, Kettle Run 28
The Judges kept this very close and have proven that their 4-0 start wasn't a fluke. It would've been nice for their playoff chances to get the win but with Heritage losing it means that a 7-3 season could very well get them in. The Judges need to take care of Fauquier two weeks from now and then beat either Liberty, Sherando, or Millbrook. Liberty is a winnable game for them but Sherando and Millbrook will be tough.
I think there are going to be a lot of 7-3 teams by the end of the regular season and that it's going to come down to the decimal places in the points standings. 8-2 should be good enough to guarantee a spot but any worse than that and you're going to be sweating as the points are calculated.
