Final in VHSL Region 6A Hoops Tournament Quarterfinals - Manchester 82, Western Branch 72.

Lancers will play host to Landstown in next week's regional semifinals.

It's a re-match of last year's region semis, won by Landstown, at the Norfolk Scope.

#1 Oscar Smith 57 (19-2) #8 Grassfield (11-10) 41.

Jacobi Harper led the Tigers with 16 points, and Cameron Walters (11 points, 5 assists, 3 steals), Ulysses Young (12 points, 4 steals) and Tavis Johnson (8 points, 10 rebounds) also contributed.

Santino Moore hits the game winner at the buzzer 49-47 Highland Springs over Cosby.

Hshs will advance to the Regional Semifinals against Oscar Smith Tuesday Night at 6pm in Chesapeake

Semfinal: #1 Oscar Smith 68 #5 Highland Springs 62.

Jacobi Harper scored 16 of his team high 20 points in the 2H as the Tigers rallied from an 11 point halftime deficit.

Ulysses Young with four 3-pointer finished with 15 points.

Evan Waller led Highland Springs with a game high 21 points.

Final in VHSL Region 6A Hoops Tournament Semifinals - #3 Landstown 53 #2 Manchester 52.

Eagles hit the offensive glass - 4 times - in the final 19 seconds with DeShawn Spellman's stikc-back with 3 seconds serving as the game-winner.

Lancers long 3 at the buzzer was off the mark.

Now 20-4, the Eagles will visit Oscar Smith (21-2) for the Region 6A Hoops Championship.

Landstown brings in a 16-game winning streak.

This marks the 5th meeting between these two schools in the regional playoffs since 2017.
