Region II Champions

Since the year 2000 what teams from the previous and current Northwestern District have won the Region II championship ?

Anyone know ?

I was at that 2000 game vs. Grafton with the score 0-0 going to the bottom of the 7th. Handley got a runner on 3rd (Adam Dutton) with no outs and couldn't get him in. In the top of the 8th Grafton scored four then Handley in the bottom got one run
to make the final score 4-1. Very disappointing loss. Thanks Coach Milburn he did say 2000 on didn't he.

Might want to include Fauquier, in 2004. The Falcons were in the NWD that season and they defeated Sherando in the Region II final. I was there, so I know. Can't remember the score, though.

Brentsville 2008

Forgot about them. Brentsville got a 1st round bye, then beat Potomac Falls in the semi's and in the final they were way down to Broad Run at home and come back in extra innings I think to win. Then lost to Poquoson in the quarterfinals also at home.

That's right they lost to Poquoson in the state quarterfinals. So it's Handley 2000, Liberty 2001, Handley 2002, Fauquier 2004 and Brentsville 2008.
