And Washington & Lee played and beat Rappahannock twice and is claiming points for both victories. Is that allowed?

Yes. One counted as a nondistrict game and the other is a district game. You'll see schools do that from time to time, if they have trouble filling out their schedule

Sure seems like there have been PLENTY of opportunities to find games with all of the schedule changes that teams wouldn't want or need to play each other twice.

Washington & Lee cancelled tommorrow nights game at West Point. It sounds like it will go down as a no-contest. smh

These games were scheduled before the season ever started. They didn't just add them during the season. As for the West Point and W&L game being a no contest, I don't agree with that. Mostly because it was scheduled in September and W&L had Covid issues and you guys rescheduled it. Second, because W&L went and rescheduled last week's game to tonight, knowing they already had a previously scheduled game tomorrow night. But if the two schools agreed on a no contest, then all of that is out the window, which seems to be the case

West Point didn't agree to a no-contest. Apparently this was a decision at the region level and I think we appealed and lost.

That's messed up then, especially when other schools have received forfeit wins because of Covid, which was the reason they didn't play in September

Not good over all. Holston is pretty good at the top but no team has anything for Riverheads in 1D
Losing to Riverheads is nothing to hang ones head over. No different than any other team in 1A. It's cool to see some different schools at the top, whether it be region D or anywhere else in the state. Holston and K&Q have been two of the nicer stories in 1A over the past few seasons.
