What's your point? Are you trying to insult this young man? I know him. He's a great young person, completely undeserving of people being ugly towards him.I can promise if you knew him, you wouldn't want to put him down. Super nice kid. Kind to others. Works hard.Surprised he didn't choose VCU, seeing as how they are undefeated in football...

Slow down, he was just joking! VCU doesn't even have a football team. It was a running joke between he and @DanvilleSportsHead. @ClarkeFan83 is a good guy, hopefully I'll get to meet him one day. What's your point? Are you trying to insult this young man? I know him. LOL!!!!! That's hilarious! That's so VCU-ish. Luckily I'm not as crazy as most of our fans. By far the most obnoxious fan base in Virginia. I actually feel bad for when we play any in state teams. The slander and trash talks get extreme, especially with the UR Spiders lol!!Yes, as a W&M alum, I can tell you it's been a great source of frustration that the Tribe has never been able to defeat the Rams on the gridiron.
In all seriousness, if you are a Tribe alum, or just a fan - hey, it could be possible - you've been subjected to countless gut-wrenching, heart-breaking, soul-crushing losses over the decades. One of the very worst came against VCU in basketball in 1983, when I was in school. W&M was riding an eight-game winning streak in the midst of an NIT-bid season (the Tribe's very first ever post-season bid in bball). VCU came into W&M Hall, and took a one-point win, something like 50-49. VCU never had the lead at any point in the game - until after the final buzzer. They threw up a follow-up shot just before the clock hit 00:00 that bounced around and fell through after the horn sounded. So VCU's coach, an enormous tool by the name of J.D. Barnett, refused Bruce Parkhill's offered hand; instead, he proceeded to do a bizarre little war dance right in Parkhill's face. I recall the sight to this day.
Ah - the warm fuzzies that come with being a Tribester.
