Haven't made it to a game yet, but thanks to a nice person who keeps us informed on Game Changer (and you know who you are!) the Big Red is unbeaten as of the moment. Better yet, three of the four wins have come against teams in higher classifications, which will help the ratings down the road. Keep up the good work!

The Gladiators picked up their third victory of the week Thursday with a 22-0 romp at Covington. Those boys are working their behinds off and so far it is paying off. We will see what happens when district play begins here soon.

I have not made it to a game yet but after today's 7-2 home win over Staunton, the Gladiators are now 8-0 overall and 1-0 in district play. Their district opener was supposed to have been at Wilson back on Tuesday but that was rained out and no make-up date has been set. Next up will be a road trip to Fort Defiance on Tuesday and it sounds like the weather will cooperate nicely for that one.

The Gladiators continue to pound the ball, with 98 runs scored in those games, which comes out to over 12 runs per game.
