In what looked like it was going to be a close game, the Rye Cove War Eagles got their heads on straight and blew out the Thomas Walker Pioneers. Defense was the name of the game for The War Eagles as they held the Pioneers scoreless on the evening. Quarterback Landon Lane again was the big threat for the War Eagles breaking off several long runs and throwing a couple of nice passes. Lane had touchdown runs of 20 and 50 yards. Will Rollins also had a couple of touchdown runs for the War Eagles. Defensively Jacob Jessee was the star of the night with two interceptions for the War Eagles. The War Eagles return hoke next week for Castlewood.
