Don't let score full ya. Real score was 21 0 Salem. Meaningless touchdowns scored by 2nd teams in 4th quarter. Byrd first team offense could have played twenty quarters against Salems first defense and they wouldn't have scored. Salem defense looks like the real deal. The score wasc21 0 Salem after three quarters. Now as good as the Defense looked the offense is another thing. The offensive line has a long way to go and the quarterback had three turnovers in three quarters. Until the offensive line comes together the Defense will have to carry Salem.

What kind of offense was Byrd operating out of, and how effective was Salem’s passing attack?

Salem had a nice short passing game. Not much down field. Byrd ran spread sprint outs by QB. Poor running game. Actually was disappointed with Byrd offense. Historically they play a toughbrand of offensive football. This years Offense at Byrd is soft. Looks like they want to play flag football. Byrd defense is good, tough and physical. Salem defense very very good. Run to the ball with hostile intent.
