Mauled PH hard at the LOS. 60 runs on the day (and another 12 passes) compared to just 35 plays for PH. Persinger had 110 yards in the first half before going out with concussion protocol, sophomore Zavione Wood had 249 on a monster 29 carry game (VERY rare at Salem to see those numbers) with Pinello and the 3rd string TB putting together 110 or so between them.
PH should be better than their record says, they've got speed for days. A good coach would go a very long way at PH, I think, but they can never seem to fully put it together on the field.
Considered not making this thread but it's very rare Salem puts out such yardage numbers and that might be the highest rushing total in some time, maybe 15-20 years.
