Salem played sloppy- turnovers, poor snaps, poor blocking and tackling. That being said FC had some big linemen that did a good job of blocking. RB #9 Witcher could probably be playing Varsity. He returned the 2nd half KO for a TD also. The QB did a good job passing and running. It was a surprise, but FC played better and deserved the win. They wanted it more.
I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. I was just curious, because very rarely do you hear of the Salem JV getting beat. Same with the varsity for that matter. Sometimes a loss or parity re-energizes a team or program. At least the Franklin County program is showing signs of progress.
