Skyline raced out to a 43-0 halftime lead and never looked back defeating the winless Manassas Park Cougars by a final score of 68-0. The Hawks totaled approximately 415 yards of total offense, while limiting the Cougars to one first down, which happened on the last play of the game. Aiden Vaught led the way on the ground with over 100 yards rushing. Ethan Caperton threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for one more, and even the Skyline reserves(many called up from JV) got into the scoring action. Sam Barber threw a 32 yard touchdown pass to Alijah James to finish off the scoring for the Hawks.

i will be honest, the scores were coming so fast and furious, that I actually lost track of who scored Skyline's 3rd touchdown. It was from the 23 yard line, whatever it was. (edit: I just received word it was another 23 yard touchdown for Aidan Vaught. So he had 3 touchdowns as well)

The Hawks will face a much more difficult opponent next week as they travel to Brentsville.

Manassas Park really needs to go back to a non-district schedule. How many players do they have?

They had more players than Skyline. Which is why Skyline had to play their JV the whole 2nd half, since Skyline does not really have that many bench players.
Manassas Park just has almost no line play. The quarterback had no time to do anything. And when he did hit his fast receiver, the ball was dropped several times. And then one time, two receivers collided into each other.
Their head coach is an NFL veteran, and he was very impressive running them through warm-ups. I personally think he will get them in the right direction.
