Congrats to RH on a great season. But if they do in fact have 530 some kids then you and everyone else associated with the program should be ashamed. It is hard enough for small 1A schools to compete with the bigger ones as it is, then to have to compete against a school that is manipulating the numbers is disgusting

2x4 I have no clue of how many kids are there. And frankly I don't care today. I am just saying that every time this comes up it is some ass clown that "has evidence". Then bring it to the proper authorities and it will be dealt with. I don't care what division we play in. I will support them regardless. I do not agree that the numbers are being manipulated but if they are then shame on those that are doing it. And to put a finer point on it, we play a somewhat mixed schedule every year with the majority of our opponents being 2A. I could do the math but I am not gonna but the vast majority of the 202 wins that Casto has are against 2A. Whoever said we would compete with Appo is still a little drunk. We played them in a scrimmage but neither team did that much and I don't ever put a lot of stock in those exibitions. Back to the enrollment issue, if someone has evidence then take to the VHSL and demand answers otherwise let it go. Sour grapes
Roll pride it's funny you should say that As a player and a coach I have been a part of 6 state championships. It's not a secret to how they get away with it! Technically they are under enrollment but technically it's manipulating the system. Congratulations to the Gladiators.

I will not post any info on the young man because I am convinced that it was just his passion got the best of him. Phenomenal player but the score was lopsided and it didn't really impact the game overall. Good luck to him in the future as he certainly is a talent.

As soon as Riverheads wins people start matching them up with Bridgewater College, Appomattox High, and the New England Patriots. They just won the competition that was set up prior to anyone taking a snap. Now is is over. What is the point of these dream scenarios? Once a team wins their championship we have to debate the bigger and badder team that it would take to beat them? Waste of time.

It's not people "making up these dream scenarios". During the game, as this thread updated with scores, someone stated something in context of "RH could hang with Appo". It was somebody pro RH. So other people (with an IQ over potato) stated that they couldn't. Then others went on defending that they could. If we are going to tell the story, tell it right. Don't paint RH as the victim. They are a very good team, they just aren't competing with Appo. But someone on here that was pro RH STARTED the whole deal.
I'm pretty sure Appo could more than hang with them considering Amherst beat Salem and Appo beat Amherst by a good amount.
