As we all know from all the publicity it has received, the ACC TV Network launches tomorrow, which will be today by the time most of you read this. I think I heard it officially starts at 7:00 in the evening.

However, I need some clarification on this business about Comcast not having agreed to carry it. I think one of the Dish servers has also not come on board yet.

So does this mean that if you have Comcast (as an example) that you will literally have absolutely NO way of seeing the programming that this network is broadcasting? Not even online maybe? Or will things like Raycom and all that stuff that we have used all these years still pick up the games?

It will be a crock if we have all these games and other features available yet we can't see them because somebody could not get together and hammer out a deal.

The ACC Network debuts tomorrow (Thursday) night at 7:00 pm.
You can find in Richmond VA it on:
Verizon FiOS: 329 (829 HD)
DirecTV: 612

According to my local paper, the first 10 minutes tonight will also be carried live on all the ESPN channels, just as sort of a teaser or introduction I guess, but then after that, only the people who are really getting it will be able to see what is on it.

My guess is that Comcast (my provider) will make some big announcement at some point to make us think they are doing us some big favor and then they will raise the rates to cover it.

Their first live football game is not until next Thursday, so that gives everyone time I guess to get used to what you do or don't have.
