The Henrico HS Warriors

Does the Gameday Broadcast Network or any other media platform stream Richmond area games? I am now interested in seeing who wins the 9/28 meeting between Henrico vs HSHS! SB will be up here in Northern VA watching with our popcorn.

Keep in mind you have to either beat the man just once, but if you win the first one you will have to beat them twice!

There may be a sequel to this movie. Let's not rule Varina out either. Bird is also different now with Payoute at QB.

I'll tell you what.... HSHS looked a bit sloppy and out of sorts last week..... I guarantee you that won't happen tomorrow night. Or on September 28th! If Henrico is going to beat HS, they'd better bring more than 1 quarter back, 1 running back and a couple of wide receivers!!.... and a college level defense!

That’s why I said last week... a game that isn’t over at half time would be good for the Springers. You theoretically should get everyone best shot. We will see soon enough

Interestingly enough, that 36-6 score is how the Smith games vs Woodside have played out during their playoff games. As I'd mentioned in other posts, the Wolverines play a tough football game. They seem to be just shy of the next level talent to make deeper runs in the playoffs.

So, don't compare last year's results to this outcome. Woodside was definitely down last year & they are predicted to win the Peninsula District by Matt. I suspect they'll make some noise in the 6A playoffs too.

I will predict that Woodside will finish the regular season 9-1 or 8-2. They do have a good football team.

Side note:
I just got home from HSHS vs MBK
JV game .... Halftime score 58-0 HS.
Final 70-0.
HS jv through both scrimmages and 3 regular season games. Scores
NStafford 49-0
T. Dale. 56-0
Hermitage. 52-0
Woodside. 50-0
MBK 70-0.
Nobody has scored against this defense and the offense is ELECTRIC!

That is ridiculous. Can your JV team win the Colonial?????

I was at the Springs bs Woodside game for 2nd and 3rd qtr. Inleft early bc I was getting attacked by mosquitos to no end. I was there bc the Monacan game ended at 7 and I rode over from GLen Allen.

Springs looked a little sloppy but not too crazy. Awesome athletes as advertised. Regarding Woodside they were a tough scrappy team that probably was good for HSHS. A team that would scrape and scrap with them a little. If they were sparring partners I would say Woodside got a few good body shots in here and there. They were much smaller than HSHS though. They looked like a small team in general to me in terms of team size. Tough players though and I think they do go 8-2 or 9-1 over all but they are in a weak watered down Peninsula district so I don’t think it holds much weight. I don’t see them being a contender for the title but could maybe ruin somebodies day. Like maybe be a 5 seed in Region A and upset a 4 seed but that is where it ends I think.

It was a good game for us. Woodside did land a few body blows and didn't quit! We play Mbk tomorrow, Riverbend next week ,then Hanover. 3 tune up games, then Henrico!. They have Deep Run, Tucker and PH. Both teams will be undefeated, then we are gonna eat them for dinner!

Very good description of the Wolverines. They make the best of what they have. Their past playoffs have been pretty much as you described, too.
