One of the best slate of games this season will happen this Friday.
The two biggest schools will face-off as JF (2-4) travels to Amherst (5-1). The Cavs have lost some heartbreakers, but can play the role of spoiler in this one. The Lancers are still the team to beat despite losing last week. They have talent all over the place, and will have their sights set on showing how they play even better at home.
Brookville (5-2) heads to Glass (5-1). The Bees are fresh off a thrilling win OT at home. They overcame a 2 game losing streak, and pulled off a huge upset in the pouring rain last week. The Hilltoppers have far exceeded expectations to this point and would like to continue their winning ways. The weather will finally be better this week, and these two teams really thrive in the passing game. The 2 qb's can light up the City Stadium scoreboard in the blink of an eye.
Heritage (4-2) will take the trip to Rustburg (6-1). The Pioneers continue to grow with their new qb. Showing a potent ground game featuring a big line, and lots of talented skill players. The Red Devils have had a magical season, and they seem to be moving along "one dang inch" at a time. This game will be the type that lineman dream about- two ground and pound power running teams
