TJ Vikings 2025 Schedule

TJ is going to be battled tested come playoff time. Tough schedule for what is now a Class 2 school come August. Armstrong and TJ battling early on is one I hope is on NFHS or some other platform to watch.

Both teams were good last year. Does anyone from the Richmond area know what these 2 teams return from last year?

TJ has Amare Gough back at WR and the addition of Daeron Ferguson (RB from HS) and some key pieces on defense including Reginald Weston. Gough is committed to Syracuse and they have Quameer Waters at QB who comes to TJ from Monacan.

Armstrong has Donzell Jones-Teal, Nazir Adams, Dior Barnes, Jahkee Cotman, Averi Hornes and Devon Epps all back. Defense should be as good if not better than last season. On offense QB Anthony Hansom has transferred from Varina to the Wildcats.

I would not sleep on either of these teams. Both coaches get the best out of their guys.

Both teams should really good. Especially at the C2 level. Armstrong's line looks huge from videos that have been posted. Don't take this as disrespect to TeeJay but they could end up 5-5 with this beefed up schedule and win a state championship.

I don't disagree. A battle tested and talented TJ team would be no one I would want to see in the playoffs.

I like these additions to 2A . Could spark up the east part of the state . Both teams r filling their holes with transfers lol . However those heavy run teams in the playoffs might give em trouble (Poquoson and Strasburg ) just like Kettle Run did in 3a playoffs . There is a bunch of that in 2A . Both teams bring speed - TeeJay losing their do it all Qb is big . Also losing 3 DBs and a couple Linebackers could be tough for em.

Armstrong bringing back most of the o line and d line . They have reloaded at Db with transfers . And I like 9 and 1 on defense .
