Hey, not to nitpick......
I appreciate your efforts in organizing and running this contest. So, this question is not a criticism. But, if these two teams are seeded 2 and 3 in the whole thing, why are they meeting now? Isn't this at least one round too early? Or are they 2 and 3 in just one of four different groups? It's also quite possible that I don't understand how the whole thing is set up. Thanks!

So there have been 30 champions crowned since 1986 when the VHSL began awarding six state titles. I seeded teams as geographically as I could which is why Salems are playing against one another. As there were only 30 champions, I started the tournament at the Round of 32 as opposed to 64 like March Madness. Since seeds 1-4 won in this bracket, naturally 1 will face 4 and 2 will face 3.
Hope this clears it up.
