Has the VHSL post season been canceled ? I have not heard anything about a tournament anywhere in a week.

Social Media is why....
the Virginia Preps boards are dead. I started my own twitter account for athletic purposes only and realized this very quickly. People post on twitter and other social accounts now instead of coming here and doing it.

I do not like Twitter, thus I know very little about it. I am old school. I still vapreps should be the outlet of choice.

I find that conversations on twitter are hard to follow and you only have 140 characters per tweet. Personally, when talking about sports more in depth, I prefer Va preps and Facebook over twitter, but Twitter is probably better for receiving quick updates.
I am hopeful that the virginiapreps message boards and forums don't become a thing of the past, I really enjoy them.

I've seen both Honaker and Altavista play this year...Honaker has more than a chance. They may not win but they have a definitely have a chance.

I agree with HR6...I hope Va Preps stays the venue of choice to talk Virginia high school sports.

The way I figure the brackets working out in the later stages is Honaker would end up having to beat Radford and Altavista to win the title. I just don't see that happening.
