Junior Joseph Tuzzolo belted two 2-run homeruns and pitcher John Woodard threw a complete game to help Menchville defeat Warwick 8-2.

Tuzzolo's first inning shot crossed the centerfield fence hitting the scoreboard outside the fence to give Menchville a 3-0 lead. Tanner Woods followed with a homerun over the left field fence for a 3-0 Monarch lead.

Menchville extended the lead in the seventh with another 2-run blast from Tuzzolo that scored Jah-neel Warner and a RBI single by catcher Erick Weinreich after a double from Woods. Weinreich also had an RBI single in the fifth inning and finished the day with three hits. Hunter Martin and Tanner Woods also added three hits each. Martin had an RBI double in the second.

Meanwhile, Woodard had his way with the Raiders batting order allowing three hits and striking out eight. Warwick's Jay Sewer accounted for both Raider runs with an RBI double in the fourth inning and scoring after leading off the seventh with a double. Christian Sola singled to score Sewer.

The Monarchs wasted several scoring chances with some baserunning miscues. They had three baserunners on in the third but didn't score and they had three runners thrown out.
