Updates on WP @ Rapp and wl @ Franklin?

Rapp had a few things that didnt go there way early and it snowballed from there....Credit to WP

Not to take anything away from WP bc they did what they had to do to win the game but Rapps administration is what failed them last night.

Rapp has one of the best Soccer programs in Region A and Football team will be a threat to succeed again next year but their field is atrocious. This game was basically played in a mud pit. The county/school board should be ashamed that they haven't made any upgrades in the grass in over 30yrs. It has to be the worse field in Region A and maybe even the state.

With that said, I'm not saying Rapp would have won the game on a dry field but I guarantee that WP can agree Rapp has to do something about that field. It's literally a safety hazard and for the Richmond County School System to sit back and do nothing shows you how much they care about the Football program and the kids who play it. PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR FIELD WITH NEW SAUD, TURF, OR DIFFERENT GRASS!!!

Don’t know how it is there but here in Augusta County I believe the AD, the head coach and the boosters take care of the fields, I think the county does a lot so much money for atheletics but I think each individual school uses it how they see fit not 100 percent sure on this part but the other part I am

I can attest to some part of Augusta county, and not fields, but field houses.

SD had a fire in mid 2000s that burnt down their Fieldhouse. They had to find donations to rebuild it. That is why it is Nibco. A couple of years later, the county paid for a brand new Fieldhouse for Wilson.

The reason why it was done that way, I cant answer. Wilson also got their practice field done, but I think that is used for soccer as well. They are redoing their football field this offseason.
