Who's gonna take it and why?
Interested to hear @BoKnowsSports take as he has strongly advocated for both squads recently.

Excellent analysis! I know nothing about either team; my knowledge is what I see posted on here. I'm guessing Varina is bit more battle tested based on schedule as well as many of the current players having this "big game" experience before (success from the past 2-3 seasons).I really don’t know who pulls this thing out on Friday. The state’s best offense vs the state’s best front 7. I think Huguenot’s defense is very underrated and Varina’s offense is vastly improved. So many storylines to this game.
1. Linwood Johnson vs his former team. Linwood (statistically) has the best stats of any player in the Richmond Metro and IMO has earned the Region B Offensive Player of the Year award. 24 passing TDs, 1 interception and 11 rushing TDs. Over 2500 yards of offense for the year while splitting time with the highly touted freshman QB, CJ Scott. Linwood took a lot of criticism last year but came back and proved a lot of people wrong.
2. Athletes will be aplenty. Varina has DaMari “D1” Carter, Bull Richardson, Braylon Hood, Kaleb Wyche, TeeJay Cheatham, Myles Anderson, Jayden Walker, Devin Henderson.. Huguenot with Iveon Lewis, Mike Dabney, Markell Dabney, John John Washington, Ty Moore, Daron Thompson, Ziggy Miller, Sam Cohen… that’s over 175 D1 and D2 college offers on 1 field.
3. Huguenot’s offensive line and defensive. I seen some people say Huguenot’s offensive line isn’t physical. Terrible observation .. The stats and analytics say otherwise.. Huguenot’s scoring defense was the best of any team in 4B, only giving up 12ppg for the season. Their offense is by far top 3 in the state, putting up 49.6 ppg. You don’t be soft putting up numbers like that.
4. Varina was a poor 3rd down play call from being the 1 seed. Their offense is vastly improved and I emphasize vastly. Their running game, passing game, play calling, line play, and scheme has impressed me since that loss to Indian River. Kaleb Wyche is to Varina what Harry Dalton is to Dinwiddie. I believe Varina is the most rounded team in this region (special teams, defense, athletes on offense, and they’ve been there before). Varina’s offensive line will have to hold up. Big boys, but commit a lot of penalties. Can’t leave any points on the board this Friday.

How are the special teams for both squads? That's a huge x-factor that could come into play.
Always look forward to your breakdowns and passion, even if they are a bit 804 biased and wishful thinking 😆I really don’t know who pulls this thing out on Friday. Lastly.. Special teams may be the difference. Don’t see Huguenot being able to consistently go for 2 and get the conversion if it’s a shootout.
Gimme Varina 35 Huguenot 34.
😂 I appreciate you brother!Always look forward to your breakdowns and passion, even if they are a bit 804 biased and wishful thinking 😆
I think Varina’s wrs may give Huguenot secondary trouble, Varina also has trouble with their kicking game.I really don’t know who pulls this thing out on Friday. Gimme Varina 35 Huguenot 34.
I'm thinking about it, but will definitely be in that area to watch my son's 12u team play in the holiday bowl in a few weeks.
Yeah you’re right bro. Think Varina’s a tad better in the special teams department but not by much. I’d trust them to make a PAT before Huguenot.I think Varina’s wrs may give Huguenot secondary trouble, Varina also has trouble with their kicking game.
It’ll either be a close Varina win or Huguenot by a few scores. I agree with you bro.32-23 Huguenot
If you can, shoot me a message bro. Would like to meet and connect. You too @Phoebus Fan.I'm thinking about it, but will definitely be in that area to watch my son's 12u team play in the holiday bowl in a few weeks.
I think Varinas regular season schedule was a lot tougher than huguenots schedule. I don't think they'll be able to run the ball on Varina I think you will have to go to their passing game, by the quarterback starting for Varina last year the coaches should know all of his weaknesses and exploit them . Varina is the best team Huguenot has faced this year without a doubt. It should be a good game for the first two quartersCan Huguenot OL handle Varina DL? That’s where the game will be won. Athletes all over the field at skill positions, the trenches will decide the game…
I respect it and I hope you’re right. I want our Blue Devils to pull it out but Huguenot is the best team we’ve seen this year as well.I think Varinas regular season schedule was a lot tougher than huguenots schedule. I have not seen Varina live to be fair. I just side with Huguenot bc I think they are more well balanced with a very good pass and run game. It’ll either be a close Varina win or Huguenot by a few scores. I agree with you bro.
You are the king of crazy statements…🤣🤣🤣I really don’t know who pulls this thing out on Friday. The state’s best offense vs the state’s best front 7.
What you think about GA at HSHS? Think GA might be slightly better but I think the moment will be too big and the Springers will just be more mentally prepared.I respect it and I hope you’re right. I want our Blue Devils to pull it out but Huguenot is the best team we’ve seen this year as well.

I’m still high on Glen Allen. I think they’re the better team. Springers have been there before and GA still hasn’t beaten HS or Varina. I like my dawg Coach Sexton and GA over the Springers. What you think about GA at HSHS? Think GA might be slightly better but I think the moment will be too big and the Springers will just be more mentally prepared.
Come on man Huguenot does not have the best offense in the stateCan Huguenot OL handle Varina DL? That’s where the game will be won. Athletes all over the field at skill positions, the trenches will decide the game…
King of crazy statements is wild 😂 I’m cool with it. I do see whomever coming out of B giving yall that work in the ship. Azz whipping. Remember it, write it down, take a picture or whatever Smoky said 😈You are the king of crazy statements…🤣🤣🤣
But after watching each team’s first playoff win i think Varina is the better overall team by a small margin. Game could go either way. As of Sunday I’ll take Varina by 3
With the exception of Region A, there is a ton of parity. I have no clue who is coming out of Region B, C, and D. I do believe Phoebus will get challenged in the semi and final. Let's hope anyway.King of crazy statements is wild 😂 I’m cool with it. I do see whomever coming out of B giving yall that work in the ship. Azz whipping.
