VHSL/2A East - food for thought?

Most of the state was hit pretty good with snow today and most are still getting it. What happens if today's games that are post poned for tomorrow cannot be played on Friday due to travel issues? They would be moved to Saturday. Then would the VHSL/2A East directors make the regional championship games be played on Sunday, & have the semifinals game on Monday? Or would the powers at be cancel the regional championship game, give the kids a day to rest and play on the semi-finals on Monday?

2A East is causing the cluster with their 16 teams get in opposed to 8 (that 8 out of the 12 regions have in place). 2A East still has semifinal games that need to be played & it will make the road to Richmond tougher. It is tough for the 2A W teams to try and prepare for 4 teams opposed to 2.

I just posted on another thread that I think 2A east will consider an 8 team playoff in the future, simply due to this March weather, and what it has done to this year's playoffs

VHSL need to step in and mandate a consistent format throughout the state.
