I just knew the ladies basketball team would close LSU out last night, but in the end it looked like they forgot how to play basketball. Will Tech ever win a national championship in a major sport? Why do they look so underwhelming in the BIG games? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Lsu had too many athletes. Wore tech down. Big girl for tech became non factor didn't rebound, score or block shots. Not a good enough athlete to stay with LSU girls for 4 quarters.

Kenny Brooks (of JMU) is VT’s best chance to win a national title. But it’s TOUGH once you get to the Elite 8 and beyond in WBB. The upper crust is just another level. Kenny is a strong recruiter though. I suspect this will be a sustained run for VT WBB unless he gets a $$$ offer he can’t refuse.
