When/how could a player, whose team is NOT in bonus situation, be fouled in the act of shooting (at his own goal this time), make the basket, but get two(2) free throws and the fg points taken away?

he could get 2 Fts if foul was intentional. but I can think of no rule that would take away the FG points, unless shot attemptt came after buzzer and intentional/flagrant foul was called.

His teammate commits basket interference.

I was not thinking of basket interference but yes that would do it. The play is one I saw several years ago and is close to what HR6 came with. The sequence of: shooting-foul occurring-horn sounding-release would negate the made basket but still award 2ft's. Takes a pretty astute ref(and crew) to get that right...especially back in the days prior to instant replay.

That would be a correct ruling.
