Perhaps only superceeded by the opening week of football, this is what we have waited for since the end of last season.

Many are left to hope for better things starting next season, some are left to say, "if only", and the remaining fans are somewhere between hopeful and fully expectant.

Regardless, everyone please remember, it's not about us. It is never about us. It is, and always has been about the kids that play a game that we are privallaged to enjoy.

May each of you travel safe. May every single one of the players remain healthy, happy, and humble. And may we all simply praise the effort and hard work by the players and coaches, and leave it at that.
