This was a battle of inept offenses. Both teams struggled in passing and rushing. Robinson did a little better in rushing while Westfield's rushing game was nonexistent. Westfield did better in passing than Robinson, but not much. Both Westfield and Robinson missed their first field goal attempts before Westfield made it on the second attempt.

Westfield's defense did stop Robinson inside Westfield's 5 yard line, which was one good thing about Westfield's game.

It's hard to tell if both teams played outstanding defense or the inept offense of both teams made the defensive teams look good.

IMO, this was more about defenses. The lack of a running game hurt Westfield, but Robinson's passing game is really bad. Robinson is a good running team and they really did very little of consequence with that, as Westfield shut down most running plays. Robinson is used to getting long runs and outside of Lee's one long run that just did not happen. A bit of bad luck factored in for both teams, as the Westfield fumble on the 4 yard line hurt them and Robinson's RB stumbling on the 3 yard line and coming up short cost them a TD too. Yes, the offenses could be better but give the defenses credit-they are both good.

Perhaps it was more of a battle between Robinson's offense and Westfield's defense. This would have been a more accurate description of the game.

Robinson had a total of 165 yards rushing against Westfield's 50 yards.

Westfield had a total of 122 yards passing against Robinson's 42 yards.

Westfield QB Tyler Scanlan was 8-17 for 122 yards, 0 TD, and 1 INT.
Robinson QB Alex Miller was 3-13 for 42 yards, 0 TD, and 0 INT.
