That's interesting that the only four teams in the state that had winning records and didn't make the playoffs were all in 4A West. I didn't realize that, but it doesn't change my opinion that going to twelve playoff teams was the right decision. I think Byrd, Harrisonburg, Dominion and Loudoun Valley each would have been one-and-done had they been the bottom four out of sixteen seeds.

I think Byrd should be in the running for a top eight seed, and first-round home playoff game, this season.
