You had better enjoy it this year Trevor. I certainly hope that when this group of seniors graduates, you still post about your Hornets. The JV program there has been below average for at least three years and your varsity team next year will be chocked full of juniors and seniors who are not battle tested as they have not seen a lot of playing time the past three years. From what I understand, the entire offense graduates minus one, maybe two offensive lineman?
I eagerly await your offensive and defensive top tens throughout the season next year. Will you still post those even though the Hornets more than likely won't make either list?

Riverheads has just as many 2A rings as Wilson Memorial does. You can talk state championships on the 1A board all you want, but not on this board

Also....read another one of your posts on another thread here where you said you were actually hoping to see Wilson play Goochland this upcoming weekend. So let me get this straight.... You were really wishing to play a team that has not only beat your Hornets but wore their rear ends out!???

Ask anyone who knows me. I wanted Goochland. I wanted to show everyone that our kids could beat them. I also wanted RHS to win out. I wanted them in Salem so we could shut you guys up finally. Instead you guys are practicing basketball while we keep playing

Riverheads was not very good this year and surprised a lot of people .Wilson could not even beat us but you think they are all that . You will get it handed to you this week !

No I'm saying your titles from 06? And 00? Don't have any bearing now. I do commend RHS for them. It takes a lot to win a championship. But that is all you guys ever have to throw in our face. Yes you have a more recent one, but it was also in 1A

Schools and coaches have LONG memories and if there is an opportunity for them to put 50 up on the "green" team they will. I can't wait to see the Waynesboro game next year. Little Giants return a lot and will be chomping at the bit to get back in the win column against WMHS.

because a lot of folks I have talked to think they will be the top team in our area next season. That was even before they started on their playoff run

Interesting indeed, because our players are close to a lot of Waynesboro players. I will worry about next year when it comes.
I also agree that it's nothing but sour grapes. I mean a new name is made that instantly begins taking slights at us as soon as you guys are eliminated. Come on.
I also don't hide behind a keyboard. Main reason I made my name my actual name. I want people to know who it is saying what I'm saying. And class has a lot to do with everything. It's why we respect Goochland so much.
And has I have said, ask around. RHS is the most disliked school when it comes to football in this area. Maybe not to you elders but to us younger folks it rings true. It's a shame because they have great kids. Just too many fans with big mouths

Might be an Augusta County team or might just be Rockingham team....regardless....I disagree with your statement about RHS being the most disliked team in the immediate area. You say that, but very few others say it. You sound like an East Rockingham fan. Which I would understand them wanting to hang 50 on us seeing as we always put up 35 or so on them.
Regardless I feel we are a very classy program. I know many people from other schools that would agree. I think what makes is a classy program is we know where we came from. Most of my life we were destroyed by everyone. We don't take the success for granted

Now that's funny. Who takes the place of your all star backfield? Any McCauleys or Swifts out there in your JV team? How about Cullen, a JMU commit? Chapman who many consider the best on both sides of the ball? Nonetheless, 5 out 7 OL??? Your secondary you said was the BEST in 2A???
