Lots of players returning from a very good team, but THE QB is gone. I think they are going to be very good. Not big but they are athletic and fast. Who is the team to beat in D1 this year?

Benedictine should be good, they beat LCA last year, and should have beat them in the playoff game. Flint Hill will also be one to look out for, they have 2 of the best running backs in the state.

Benedictine has talent. Playing them early is an advantage. It seems it takes them a while to play well together. Collegiate plays them second game of the year and they are going to be beat up after playing the McDonough School. My prediction Collegiate sneaks away with another win over the Cadets

I think Collegiate loses a lot this year with Speight's graduation. St. Chris is my pick to compete with Woodberry for the Prep League Championship and to be in the state title game with LCA.
