The Hanover Hawks have a new Head Boys Basketball Coach and it's an alum of the school, Rob Rice.
Rice coached at Hermitage from 2015-2017. Prior to that, he coached at Lee-Davis.
During his career with the Hawks, Rice was a two-year letterman for Coach Jason Kinergy at Hanover and a two-year captain. He played two seasons in college at Bridgewater, scoring a season-high of nine points in 14 minutes in an ODAC Tournament victory over nationally-ranked Guilford in 2006-07.
Rice turned 35 back on May 1st.
