E.J Joyner set a single game scoring school record with 42 points to lead Peninsula Catholic to a 108-37 blowout win over Hampton Roads Academy in a TCIS contest. Joyner outscored the Navigators team total by himself before leaving in the 4th quarter with a generous running clock.

Joyner, who recently annouced his intent to play for his dad at Hampton University, drained six treys while adding five steals and eight assists.

The Knights were never treatened leading 24-8 after the 1st quarter and 60-22 at halftime. They held Hampton Roads Academy to only three points in the 3rd quarter and top the 100 mark midway thru the final quarter.

Four starters scored in double-figures for the Knights. Senior Malcolm Velmar had 14 points and seven steals. Junior Jaylen Wynn had couple of rim jarring dunks and finished with 17 points. Junior Devin Gaines added 21 points and seven rebounds.
