Asia Keels scored 19 points and Morgan Herbert added 15 points in the Hornets’ 16th consecutive victory.

Micah Ojo led the Cavaliers (20-2) with 24 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 blocks, Celeste Bailey had 11 points.

Final in VHSL Region 5A Girls Hoops Quarterfinals - #3 Kellam 75 #6 Kempsville 36.

Kellam (19-4) will take on Princess Anne (20-2) in Wednesday's semifinals at Deep Creek.

In the 5A Regional Semifinals, the Hornets won their 17th consecutive game.

Alaya Monroe led the team with 21 points, while Asia Keels added 17 points.

Kimora Hinton and Morgan Herbert contributed 13 points each to the team's victory.

Final in Region 5A Girls Hoops Championship - Princess Anne 52, Deep Creek 45.Darnell Dozier's Lady Cavs close on a 7-0 spurt the final 37 seconds to secure their 20th regional title and 16th in the past 18 seasons.

Dozier is now 734-59 overall.
