Vapreps Classic Session II Kecoughtan 70 West Springfield 65

Kecoughtan led from start to finish in oasting to a 70-45 win over West Springfiled in the opening game of the Virginiapreps Basketball Classic Session II.

The Warriors aggressive pressure defense led to easy baskets. They led by 16 after the 1st quarter and 27 at halftime. West Springfield could muster only eight points in both the 1st and 2nd quarter.

Tyler Suber scored 22 points to lead the Warriors Derek Todd was 7 of 9 from the field and finished with 15 points. Senior Marcel Pace added 10 points and four assists.

West Springfield was led by Jeremiah Hightower who finished 9 of 10 from the floor while scoring 21 points and adding 15 rebounds.
