WT Woodson started the game with the wind in their face and it would pay immediate dividends for Westfield. When WTW was forced to punt on their first possession, the ball went only a few yards down field before the wind blew it back, with the net being -1 yards. WF took over on the WTW 26 yard line and 4 plays later Chung scored on a 2 yard run to put WF out in front, 7-0 with 9:08 to play in the first quarter. Woodson would go on to punt twice more into the wind in the first quarter, along with being stopped on 4th and inches at their own 30 yard line. WF scored on all three drives, with the scores coming from Delaney on a 31 yard FG, Eckert on an 8 yard pass from Johnson, and Johnson on a 4 yard run. At this point, WF led 24-0 with 8:08 to play in the second quarter. On WTW's next possession they attempted another 4th down, this time 4th and 5 at the WF 49 yard line, and the pass fell incomplete to give WF yet another short field. Several plays later Chung ran it in from 5 yards out and WF extended the lead to 31-0 with 3:43 to play in the half. WTW would punt again, and WF put together a quick 74 yard drive capped by a 23 yard Johnson to Eckert pass and the lead was extended to 38-0 with less than a minute to go in the half.

Westfield started the second half with an 80 yard drive, in which Cockrill had a big play of 72 yards on a screen pass from Johnson to get to the WTW 7 yard line. Johnson then scored on a 7 yard run and the lead was extended to 45-0 with 7:34 to play in the third quarter. WF's Morin intercepted WTW's Heisely on the next WTW possession, getting the INT on the WTW 30 and advancing to the WTW 14 yard line. WF would not score on this drive, failing to convert a 4th and long after a penalty and a sack, giving the ball back to WTW on the WTW 18 yard line. WF would get another possession that ended in a fumble by Asante that WTW's Roberts recovered at midfield, and WTW took advantage when WTW's Williams scored on a 4 yard run for WTW's lone score, ending the game at 45-7.
