I am not from the area so no direct ties to any of this. That being said, did the investigation really resolve anything or did it just create more? A few things to ask:
(1) What were the steps and results in the internal investigation? Why was an external investigation delayed until the completion of the internal review?
(2) What were the criteria used in selecting the outside firm to perform an external investigation?
(3)Who were the 19 witnesses interviewed? When and how were the home visits conducted? Given that allegations point to 15 or more kids, how many of the 19 witnesses were those kids and/or their parents/guardians?
