    How many points did Honaker score in the 2nd half? How many times did Galax punt? Stops on defense and controlling the clock by running the football still matter. Honaker didn’t make a single stop. They wouldn’t have against Essex either.

    Carroll County has hired Seth Greer as the new head coach. Greer will be the first CC alumnus to coach the football program. According to the newspaper article, Greer was also offered the Floyd County head coaching position but chose to come home to Carroll.

    It's very possible, but Galax had 4 seniors see action in the championship game. George Wythe will also be loaded for bear next season. They return virtually everyone. Galax and GW play in the toughest Class 1 district in Virginia. They will likely have a say in the end.

    I remember a game 20 something years ago where the only points scored were on field goals but I'm really not certain if that's the game. I'm also thinking it could have been a game Powhatan was involved in. I'm getting old. My memory isn't what it used to be.

    This is the comparison a group of us were making the other day. Clark and Christian are so similar. Not just on offense, but defensively as well. I think there's a lot of folks in this thread that assume the EM of today is comparable to the EM of 2010 and forget just how good that team was.
