#12 Charlottesville (17-6) @ #7 Albemarle (21-2) Jefferson District Finals

The three seeded Charlottesville Black Knights and the one seeded Albemarle Patriots are set to tip off Friday at promptly 7:45pm. Charlottesville beat #6 Western Albemarle on Tuesday in overtime, 58-55. Albemarle barley squeaked past #24 Louisa County, 62-61, the same night. These two teams have met twice this season, with Albemarle taking both, 57-41 and 70-57. Charlottesville, however, has beaten Western twice in a row and gained momentum. Whoever wins will carry a lot of momentum into Conference Tournaments next week.

Charlottesville is a good team but sometimes a few of them get frustrated on the defensive end, and let that effect them on the other side of the court. Even though they beat Western twice I think Albemarle will take this one. I do love underdogs in sports. Good luck to Cville.
