Here is the schedule for the girls 2A semis, as posted by the VHSL:

If Brunswick wins the 2A East title:
This Saturday, March 8:
Brunswick v. Central-Wise at VCU, Time TBD
East Rockingham v. Gate City at Salem Civic Center, 1:00 p.m.

If East Rockingham wins the 2A East title:
This Saturday, March 8:
Brunswick v. Gate City at Salem Civic Center, 1:00 p.m.
East Rockingham v. Central-Wise at JMU, Time TBD

NOTE: the VHSL bracket says Gate City will host at Salem Civic Center. The chart says UVA-Wise???

We need the weather to cooperate so the Brunswick-East Rockingham regional finals can be played tomorrow or Wednesday night. Huge disadvantage for these east schools.

Gate City plays the loser of Brunswick and East Rockingham at UVA Wise. It's not at Salem CC. UVA Wise is Gate City's super site not a place that's 2 hours and 45 minutes away.
