Welcome back to Salem! Clarke County and Appomattox will tangle at 4:30 p.m. This place is packed. Keep it right here for updates.
 
Appomattox has won the toss and the Raiders will defer to the second half. Clarke County will receive to start the game.
 
And here come the Raiders. Appomattox has one of the best traveling fan bases that I have seen at this level.
 
Javon Scruggs drills Rogers on 3rd down. Quick three-and-out for the Eagles. First down Appomattox at the 31.
 
Phillip Fleshman gains 17 yards on third down. 1st down Raiders at midfield.

And that's how you run the option… Dre Perkins takes it 31 yards for an Appomattox touchdown.
 
XP is good, and Appomattox takes a 7-0 lead on Clarke County with 7:14 left in the first quarter.
 
Beautiful open field tackle by De'Von Graves on third down. Appomattox will take over at their own 21 following a 52-yard punt.
 
A host of Eagles drop Matt Page in the backfield for a loss of six on 3rd down. Appomattox will punt the ball away following a timeout.
 
Hunter Rogers comes up with an interception on 3rd down. Sort of works out like a 20-yard punt. 1st down Raiders at the 23.
 
Julius Grant comes up with a huge sack on 4th down. Clarke County will take over at their own 34.
 
The Clarke County defensive line is getting a tremendous push. The last two Raider drives have ended on sacks.
 
Under four minutes to play before halftime. The Raiders have the the ball at midfield and lead Clarke 7-0
 
Buster Henderson comes up with a diving 13-yard catch on 3rd and long. First down Appomattox a the Clarke 26. Timeout with 1:18 left to play.
 
Fleshmen slices into the end zone from four yards out for an Appomattox touchdown. Raiders lead 14-0 with 1:03 left in the half.
 
The Raiders try to get cute with a halfback pass on the first play, but Clarke's Jaxon Ottobre is right there for the interception.
 
Clarke County sees a 32-yard completion come back due to a chop block. Tough break for the Eagles.
