Who are the frontrunners in 2A West this year? Virginia High is having another stellar season, could possibly look at repeating as 2A champs if we can get more pitching. How is Dan River, Randolph-Henry, etc?

Wildcats are 11-2, with both losses coming at the hands of Tunstall. Dan River and R-H will likely represent Conference 37, but Chatham and Appomattox are improving as the season progress.
We're 14-1, with our only loss coming to Homewood, AL at a tournament in Myrtle Beach. Probably not quite as strong as last year, but we've done a lot better than I expected.
Any other teams having stellar seasons? Also, does VA Preps or the AP do rankings for baseball like they do for football?

Its tough to find scores on rSchools in the Southwestern part of the state. Most of the schools must not report their scores to that district website.
