4A All-State Baseball
Hanover's Grey Lyttle selected 4A Player of the Year and Hanover's Charlie Dragum named 4A Coach of the Year
Charlottesville, VA- The Virginia High School League 2016 Group 4A all-state baseball team has been selected. Hanover senior designated hitter Grey Lyttle and head coach Charlie Dragum were selected the 4A Player of the Year and 4A Coach of the Year after leading the Hawks to the school's third state title in four years. Other teams will be announced as they are selected.
Fourteen (14) players were selected to the all-state squad, which includes - three pitchers, one catcher, four infielders by position, four outfielders, one DH and one utility player. Only first-team all-region selections are eligible for selection to the All-State team.
