The battle for first place in the Tri-Rivers District will be fought this Saturday in Emporia when Brunswick (8-0, 10-3) plays Greensville (8-1, 13-3). Both teams are playing well, coming off blowouts of Petersburg. Greensville has not lost a game since the double overtime thriller played in Lawrenceville. It should be another classic. A Brunswick win gives them a two-game lead for the title. A Greensville win would leave both teams tied for the lead.
It promises to be another entertaining battle in this intense rivalry. GO BULLDOGS!
